Description

- 1 (8 oz) tube Pillsbury refrigerated biscuit dough, thawed
- 7 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 Tbsp (60g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp (30g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp (2g) ground turmeric
- 1 tsp (5ml) honey or agave syrup
- ยฝ tsp (2g) salt
- 1 tsp (5ml) fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp (15ml) olive oil
- 1 Tbsp (6g) fresh parsley, chopped
- ยผ tsp (0.5g) smoked paprika
Instructions
- Prepare Oven & Sheet: Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make Garlic Butter: Combine softened butter and minced garlic in a bowl.
- Shape Dough: Separate dough into 8 pieces, roll into 3-inch circles.
- Fill with Cheese: Place 2-3 Tbsp mozzarella in the center of each circle.
- Seal & Shape: Gather edges to seal, shape into balls.
- Butter & Oil: Brush with garlic butter, place seam-side down, brush with olive oil.
- Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
- Make Turmeric Glaze: Melt butter, whisk in turmeric, honey, salt, and lemon juice.
- Glaze & Garnish: Brush with glaze, sprinkle with parsley and paprika.
- Rest & Serve: Let rest for 2-3 minutes and serve warm.
Notes
For best results, use full-fat mozzarella. Ensure a tight seal when forming the balls to prevent cheese leakage.
