Ingredients
- 250g (9oz) no-boil lasagna sheets
- 300g (10.5oz) cooked shredded chicken breast
- 250g (9oz) sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp (30ml) olive oil
- 3 cloves (โ15g) minced garlic
- 1 medium (โ150g) diced onion
- 480ml (2 cups) heavy cream
- 60g (4 Tbsp) unsalted butter
- 100g (1 cup) grated Parmesan cheese
- ยฝ cup (120ml) roasted red pepper purรฉe
- 1 tsp (2g) chopped fresh thyme leaves
- ยผ tsp ground nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup (100g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp (15g) toasted pine nuts
- 2 Tbsp (โ8g) chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Sautรฉ Aromatics: Sautรฉ onion and garlic in olive oil until softened.
- Cook Filling: Add mushrooms and chicken; season and sautรฉ until golden brown.
- Craft Alfredo: Melt butter, simmer cream, whisk in Parmesan, season with nutmeg and thyme.
- Create Swirl: Divide Alfredo sauce; swirl in red pepper purรฉe into one portion.
- Layer Lasagna: Layer sauce, sheets, filling, and mozzarella in a baking dish.
- Repeat Layers: Repeat layering process.
- Final Layer & Bake: Top with sheets, sauce, and mozzarella; bake covered for 25 minutes.
- Brown Cheese: Uncover and bake until cheese is bubbly and browned (10-15 minutes).
- Rest & Serve: Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
