  • 10ml (1 tsp + ยฝ tsp) soy sauce
  • 150g (1ยฝ cups) panko breadcrumbs
  • 30g (2 Tbsp) toasted sesame seeds
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Cilantro leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cheese: Pat mozzarella cubes dry.
  2. Make Glaze: Combine miso paste, brown sugar, butter, and soy sauce; heat until smooth.
  3. Season Flour: Whisk flour, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper.
  4. Combine Panko: Mix panko breadcrumbs and sesame seeds.
  5. Create Batter: Whisk water into flour until combined.
  6. Coat Cheese: Dip cheese in batter, brush with glaze, roll in panko.
  7. Heat Oil: Heat oil to 180ยฐC (350ยฐF).
  8. Fry Bites: Fry in batches for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Drain & Serve: Drain on paper towels, drizzle with glaze, garnish with cilantro.
