  • 300g (10 oz) Smoked Turkey Breast: cubed
  • 250g (9 oz) Cheddar Cheese: shredded, halal-certified
  • 150g (5 oz) Cream Cheese: softened
  • 120ml (ยฝ cup) Sour Cream
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) Olive Oil
  • 80g (ยฝ cup) Onion: finely diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic: minced
  • 15g (ยผ cup) Chives: chopped
  • 15g (ยผ cup) Parsley: chopped
  • 2.5ml (ยฝ teaspoon) Smoked Paprika
  • 2.5ml (ยฝ teaspoon) Black Pepper
  • 2.5ml (ยฝ teaspoon) Salt
  • 100g (3ยฝ oz) Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 30g (1 oz) Parmesan Cheese: grated, halal-certified
  • 15ml (1 tablespoon) Melted Butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare & Grease: Preheat oven to 190ยฐC (375ยฐF) and grease a 23 x 33 cm (9 x 13 in) baking dish.
  2. Sautรฉ Aromatics: Sautรฉ onion in olive oil until translucent, then add garlic and smoked paprika.
  3. Combine Base: Mix hash browns, turkey, half the cheddar, onion mixture, salt, and pepper.
  4. Make Herb Swirl: Whisk cream cheese, sour cream, chives, parsley, and remaining cheddar.
  5. Layer & Swirl: Spread hash brown mixture, drop swirl mixture, and gently swirl.
  6. Prepare Topping: Combine panko, Parmesan, butter, and salt.
  7. Bake: Sprinkle topping and bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  8. Rest & Serve: Let rest for 10 minutes before serving, garnished with chives.
