Description

These Turmeric Garlic Butter Glazed Cheese Bombs are an easy yet impressive appetizer featuring warm, gooey mozzarella and a vibrant turmeric glaze. Perfect for parties or a cozy night in, they’re guaranteed to be a hit!


Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) tube Pillsbury refrigerated biscuit dough, thawed
  • 7 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 Tbsp (60g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp (30g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp (2g) ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp (5ml) honey or agave syrup
  • ยฝ tsp (2g) salt
  • 1 tsp (5ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp (15ml) olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp (6g) fresh parsley, chopped
  • ยผ tsp (0.5g) smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare Oven & Sheet: Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make Garlic Butter: Combine softened butter and minced garlic in a bowl.
  3. Shape Dough: Separate dough into 8 pieces, roll into 3-inch circles.
  4. Fill with Cheese: Place 2-3 Tbsp mozzarella in the center of each circle.
  5. Seal & Shape: Gather edges to seal, shape into balls.
  6. Butter & Oil: Brush with garlic butter, place seam-side down, brush with olive oil.
  7. Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Make Turmeric Glaze: Melt butter, whisk in turmeric, honey, salt, and lemon juice.
  9. Glaze & Garnish: Brush with glaze, sprinkle with parsley and paprika.
  10. Rest & Serve: Let rest for 2-3 minutes and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use full-fat mozzarella. Ensure a tight seal when forming the balls to prevent cheese leakage.
