- 0.5 cup granulated white sugar, or brown sugar for chewier texture
- 1 large egg
- 0.25 teaspoon sea salt, optional (if using unsalted peanut butter)
- 0.5 teaspoon pure vanilla extract, optional
Instructions
- Prep Oven & Pan: Preheat oven to 350F (175C). Line a standard 9×13 inch baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Mix The Magic: In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup peanut butter, 0.5 cup granulated sugar, and 1 large egg. Stir until everything is well combined and forms a thick, uniform dough.
- Roll & Shape: Roll the dough into 1-inch (2.5 cm) balls. Place them about 2 inches (5 cm) apart on the prepared baking sheet. Gently press each cookie with the tines of a fork in a crisscross pattern.
- Bake To Golden Perfection: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown and the centers are just set.
